So you find a recipe and it says it’s “Kid Friendly.” How do they REALLY know that all kids will love it? I’ve tried several recipes and several cookbooks in the past, and have been disappointed after my labor and toil of producing a wonderful meal starts with the famous words, “I DON’T LIKE IT” or “THIS IS GROSS”. This November, I’m going to take 7 recipes described as kid friendly on Yummly.com app and truly see what is “Kid Friendly”. I have one child that doesn’t like chewy meat and another child that struggles with vegetables. So I’ll give you the feedback from BOTH of them and from the parent perspective.
For the record this will NOT help my husband’s waistline!
Here is the list of 7 items to attempt this month:
- Taco Roll-Ups
- One Dish Cheesy Chicken Pasta
- Instant Pot Homemade Hamburger Helper
- Creamy Chicken Enchiladas
- Crockpot Cheesy Chicken & Rice
- Loaded Cheesy Tater Tots
- Chicken Cordon Bleu Crescent Ring
Keep watch for the posts and the feedback from all!
Update: 11/17/2016 – This is tonight’s supper! Stay tuned for the family review!
